SUMMARY
This is a non-personal services contract to operate and maintain the Ground Intelligence Support Activity (GISA) and HQ INSCOM G6 Operations Division information technology networks and systems for the U.S. Army Intelligence and Security Command (INSCOM), a Direct Reporting Unit to Headquarters, Department of the Army, G-2, conducting intelligence, security and information operations for military commanders and national decision makers.
The Circuits Manager is responsible for ordering, amending, or changing circuit requests as directed by GET.
JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Provides Telecommunication Service Request (TSR), Telecommunication Service Orders (TSO), and Ready For Use (RFU)reports to GET management and requestors when published.
*
Coordinate testing and activations for all new circuits.
*
Provide regular updates on all circuit requests.
*
Responsible for developing, refining and complying with telecommunications systems planning and policy direction including short and/or long-range planning.
*
Monitor and recommend circuit optimization for effective information exchange.
*
Responsible for maintaining the circuit database to ensure individual communications circuit costs are current and daily circuit allocations to support the warfighter during major exercises and deployments are accurate 90% of the time on the first submission.
Education, Background, and Years of Experience
*
Education: Minimum of Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field required.
*
Experience: At least five years' technical experience in Information Technology management, processes, technologies, tools, and techniques. Two+ years experience with large- scale enterprise/global networks in a high paced diverse environment.

Substitute to minimum qualifications: At least ten years' technical experience in Information Technology management, processes, technologies, tools, and techniques. Five+ years experience with large-scale enterprise/global networks in a high paced diverse environment Familiar with DISA Circulars and DISA Storefront

Training: Completion of DISA CONUS
