The compensation offered to the candidate selected for the position will depend on several factors, including the candidate's educational background, skills and professional experience. The Barnabas Health Behavioral Health Center with Monmouth Medical Center Southern Campus Behavioral Health Services constitutes a freestanding 100-bed acute care psychiatric facility which provides inpatient and intensive outpatient programs for adults and older adults diagnosed with psychiatric and dual disorders. Job Overview: The Clinical Research Coordinator is responsible for the implementation of clinical and clinical/research activities that take place within the collaboration between Barnabas Behavioral Health Center and the Kleiman Lab at Rutgers. The scope of the job includes two broad categories: (1) co-facilitating group psychotherapy for concerns such as depression, anxiety, and suicide risk on the inpatient unit at Barnabas Behavioral Health Center and (2) local coordination and enrollment of any research studies that recruit patients from the inpatient psychiatry unit at Barnabas Behavioral Health Center. Responsibilities will include but are not limited to: implementing and overseeing group psychotherapy, working with clinical staff members to facilitate the psychotherapy groups, recruiting patients for relevant research studies, and serving as a liaison between unit staff and the Kleiman Lab Research team. All methods of practice shall conform to written hospital policies and procedures and be carried out to the highest achievable level of competence in a manner demonstrating concern and consideration.
