This client is located in Brentwood, MO and the starting pay is anywhere from $21-$26/hr. Job Description * As an Insurance Verification Specialist you will be responsible for performing insurance verification and health information management tasks. * This role's key functions will involve verifying medical eligibility and coverage of benefits and addressing billing issues related to missing/incomplete documentation and/or charges. * The ability to review and collect information in a thorough and detailed manner, as well as timely response and communication, are critical to success. Skills administration, insurance providers, insurance claim, Medicare, medical record, medical claim, prior authorization Additional Skills & Qualifications * High School Diploma or greater * 2 years of professional office experience (professional office experience in a healthcare setting is preferred). * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills required. * Must have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, remain calm in stressful situations, be flexible, work well with many interruptions, and have multi-tasking skills. * Knowledge and understanding of HIPAA and CMS guidelines. * Knowledge of and experience with insurance benefit coordination, medical credentialing, and medical billing. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $26.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
