About the Opportunity:

The Manager, Transformation Management position is responsible for managing strategic detailed organizational change and transformation projects, including planning, executing and delivering project objectives, and identifying and solving problems in alignment with business goals. Additionally, this role will have responsibility for integration plan execution of acquisitions as assigned. This role is critical in driving the company's strategic priorities including commercial and operational business process improvements.

Location: Manchester, CT preferred; commuting distance to other Pursuit sites considered

This role will primarily be in-person and will travel about 25% of the time.

Responsibilities:

  • Supports various business teams and individuals to identify and define project requirements, scope and objectives of business transformation projects
  • Develops actionable and targeted change management plans and tools; coordinating project schedules, resources, and information
  • Monitors progress, addresses any issues in achieving key milestones with teams' and meets critical deadlines:
  • Acts as point of contact and ensures that key stakeholders are kept informed and aligned of project status throughout the transformation process
  • Collaborates with cross-functional business partners to ensure consistency throughout the project's lifecycle, and to ensure success of changes, including coaching leaders, training, and providing support to ensure smooth adoption
  • Creates and maintains project documentation, meeting minutes, and follow up action items
  • Supports the planning, development and execution of integration plans and activities for business development/mergers and acquisitions
  • Performs other related duties as assigned

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Engineering, Business
  • 5 years of project management experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Aerospace and/or manufacturing experience
  • Certified Project Management designation
  • Experience successfully managing and executing growth and cost reduction projects
  • Experience working with senior leadership and influencing cross-functional teams
  • Experience driving and implementing business transformation projects
  • Advanced proficiency in project management software, Excel, MS office etc.
  • Strong knowledge of business processes and performance indicators from inquiry to cash.
  • Expertise in preparing presentations and strategic reports for senior leadership (PowerPoint)
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail
  • Strong ability to think critically and strategically, with a focus on identifying growth opportunities, value creation, and managing abnormalities
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to present complex ideas clearly to senior leadership and external stakeholders
  • Strong leadership skills and experience managing, coaching, and mentoring team members
  • Ability to work effectively with internal teams (sales, finance, legal, operations) and external consultants
  • Highly motivated and proactive, with the ability to manage multiple high-priority projects in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders
  • A results-oriented, hands-on approach with the ability to thrive in a dynamic, high-growth environment
