Data Science Senior Manager (Accenture LLP; New York, NY): Accenture LLP has multiple openings for the position of Data Science Senior Manager in New York, NY, and the job duties are as follows:

  • Lead and manage teams to deliver transformative and innovative client projects on-time and on-budget.
  • Analyze and collect customer requirements/needs through face-to-face interactions.
  • Organize and manage regular meetings to review progress and address requirement changes.
  • Produce quantitative analyses by collecting and analyzing data to assist clients with decision making, policy formulation, process re-engineering.
  • Develop decision support tools (applications, models, processes) addressing the specific customer needs and requirements that End-to-End has been engaged to resolve.
  • Produce reports, presentations, and other deliverable materials to leave and share with clients.
  • Co-create with clients to shape and sell project work.
  • Architect how to use Applied Intelligence capabilities to drive client transformation for industry or functional use cases.
  • Perform data-driven storytelling through quant analysis, dashboards, and data visualization.
  • Guide teams on analytical and AI methods and approaches.
  • Manage client relationships to foster trust, deliver value and build the Accenture brand.
  • Drive consulting practice innovation and thought leadership in your area of specialization.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

Must have a bachelors degree in Computer Science, Technology, Computer Information Systems, Computer Applications, Engineering, Management, or related field, plus 7 years of experience (of which 5 years must be progressive post-baccalaureate experience) in Data Science. Alternatively, the employer will accept a masters degree in Computer Science, Technology, Computer Information Systems, Computer Applications, Engineering, Management, or related field, plus 5 years of experience in Data Science.

Must have 5 years of experience in each of the following:

  • Developing and writing ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) conversion routines to store, locate, and retrieve specific documents, data, and information; and
  • Writing, updating, and maintaining supply chain algorithms to handle specific jobs, including tracking inventory, and storing or retrieving data.

Must have 4 years of experience in data analysis and automation of tasks to maintain and control the use of reports by using ETL, data modeling, or big data.

Must have 3 years of experience in each of the following:

  • Building supply chain planning models, including forecasting models, and safety stock policies and consumption simulations in Excel or Python;
  • Team and client management in data science projects;
  • Writing SQL code using PLX Scripts and BigQuery; and
  • Building interactive dashboards for supply chain planning and reporting using tools, including PLX dashboards and Power BI.

Must have willingness and ability to travel domestically approximately 50% of the time to meet client needs.

Pursuant to the New York Transparency Bill, the offered wage for this role is $220,200.00 per year.
