At San Jose Behavioral Health, we provide Inpatient treatment services for adults age 18+ who are experiencing mental health challenges and possible co-occurring disorders. Our professional care team collaborates with each adult to form a personalized plan that addresses their unique challenges and goals for treatment. A personalized treatment plan may incorporate modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Seeking Safety and Motivational Interviewing. As an IOP/PHP Therapist you will: Facilitate daily groups (seeking safety, psycho education, CBT, DBT...) Weekly 1:1 therapy using an evidence-based treatment (CBT, DBT, Motivational interviewing, EMDR...) Provide family therapy as needed Be responsible for assessments, safety planning, weekly treatment goals, discharge/ after care planning Maintain documentation of group and individual therapy services provided to each patient according to program standards Maintain a caseload of 7 patients Participate in treatment team meetings and collaborate with other staff to facilitate services for the patients Conduct crisis intervention with the support of the multidisciplinary team Demonstrate a positive, empathetic and professional attitude towards patients THIS POSITION IS FULL TIME AND 40 HOURS PER WEEK: Day Shift EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/SKILL REQUIREMENTS: Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling or Human Services field required. One or more years' experience working with comparable population required. LICENSES/DESIGNATIONS/CERTIFICATIONS: Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (AMFT) registered with CA BBS or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) Associate Social Worker (ASW) registered with CA BBS or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) COMPENSATION Compensation for roles at San Jose Behavioral Health varies depending on a wide array of factors including but not limited to the specific location, role, skill set, and level of experience.As required by local law, San Jose Behavioral Health provides a reasonable hourly range of compensation for roles that may be hired in California as set forth below: SJBH Range = $33.00/hour - $50.00/hour - DOE Equal Opportunity Employer/Protected Veterans/Individuals with Disabilities The contractor will not discharge or in any other manner discriminate against employees or applicants because they have inquired about, discussed, or disclosed their own pay or the pay of another employee or applicant.
