Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS)

Position Highlights:

• Position: Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS)
• Hourly Pay Range: $28.05 - $45.69. The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.
• Endeavor Health is currently conducting a comprehensive review of our compensation structure. The new minimum for this role will be adjusted to $30.46 base pay hourly rate beginning with May 2025 paychecks.
• Location: Northwest Community Hospital
• Full Time/Part Time: Full Time
• Hours: Monday-Friday, 11pm-7:30am, e/o weekend and rotating holidays

What you will need:

1.Current MT(ASCP)certificationorequivalent with a Bachelor's degree inClinical Laboratory Science.

2. Knowledge of the principles and procedures of routine and special laboratory tests and the equipment used.

3. Meet requirements to perform high complexity testing as defined by federal licensing guidelines (CLIA) and accrediting agencies (TJC, CAP).

4. The interpersonal skills necessary to interact effectively with physicians and hospital staff.

5. The organizational skills necessary to perform multiple tasks simultaneously and complete work efficiently.

6. The ability to work independently without supervision.

7. The ability to adhere to precise procedures and standards with a high degree of accuracy in observing, recording, and transmitting data.
