The Zurn Elkay Internship program supporting the Channel Marketing team, offers a great opportunity for exposure in a hands-on learning environment. You will have the opportunity to develop a variety of technical, business, and leadership skills during the internship. This individual will have the opportunity to have firsthand expertise with working in a fast-paced, collaborative public company. You will develop a deep understanding of the value that channel marketing adds to the commercial sales team in driving revenue. You will learn how to determine, capture, track, and report out on channel-specific metrics and KPIs.

As a part of the intern program, you will have the opportunity to take advantage of the following:

• Networking Events - Zurn Elkay hosts multiple networking opportunities in the Summer that give you exposure to other interns, the leadership team, and executive leaders.
• Coaching and Mentoring - You will have a structured on boarding process to introduce you to Zurn Elkay's corporate culture and provide you with regular feedback.
• Real Work Experience - Our internship process does not include getting coffee for your boss or running copies. We will provide you with a real opportunity to run reports, share your analysis, and improve our processes.

The Channel Marketing intern will work closely with our creative marketing, media, and commercial sales teams to create and implement marketing campaigns for the Plumbing & Mechanical marketing channel including email, content marketing, direct mail, sales and communications tools and more.

Responsibilities

• Understanding organizational structure and how channel works with creative, product, marketing and commercial sales
• Develop and execute go to marketing commercial channel plans for new product development
• Engage with commercial sales team to understand what is needed to drive revenue with new product launch
• Execute and communicate on requested deliverables
• Assist in daily activities for regional growth, showroom channel and tradeshows

Qualifications/Requirements

• Currently pursuing a degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, or a related field
• Basic knowledge of Excel, Word, and Teams
• GPA of 3.5 or higher preferred
• Strong attention to detail, interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
• Able to work 40 hours per week during the summer
