Job ID:111483 The Leonardo DRS Naval Electronics business provides leading naval computing infrastructure, network and data distribution and middleware enterprise services, as well as world-class manufacturing and support capabilities. Overall Summary Develop and conduct the evaluation and implementation of new initiatives and business opportunities for the Company under direction of the senior business development leader or site leader. Primary & Essential Accountabilities Develop and conduct the evaluation and implementation of new initiatives and business opportunities for the Company under direction of the senior business development leader or site leader Provide strategic and tactical input to the business leader by evaluating new initiatives and business opportunities Conduct market analysis, and competitive activity Identify and explore customer needs Provide assistance in the planning, designing, and implementing of business plans Assist with the follow through and deployment of the Company's vision, strategies, and tactics Coordinate and facilitate activities and commitments with other departments and/or functions Develop and track project schedules Participate/coordinate in strategic alliances and other external business relationships May manage Business Development staff Support, communicate, reinforce, and defend the mission, values and culture of the organization Secondary Accountabilities Make presentations on Company portfolio of products and services Attend business meetings as requested Attend trade shows Qualifications Bachelor's degree in marketing or engineering or related discipline or equivalent combination of education and experience Master's degree preferred Strong interpersonal, verbal, written and presentation communication skills Planning and organization, project management, and time management skills Ability to work on complex problems Knowledge of Company products, markets and technology Experience with Radio Frequency (RF) technologies Experience with Radar systems and solutions preferred Experience in a DoD environment preferred Strong analytical and financial skills Salesforce experience preferred Required Level of Manager Professional Competencies Managing the Job - Proficient Decision Making - Proficient Team Development/Building Organizational Talent - Proficient Building Trust and Respect/Integrity - Proficient Customer Orientation - Expert Technical Capability/Applied Learning - Advanced Communicates with Impact - Advanced Valuing Diversity/Cultural Effectiveness - Expert #NEL #LI-SN1#INDNEU U.S. Citizenship required.
