Financial Management Analyst, Senior

The Opportunity:

Are you looking for an opportunity to use your Air or Space Force financial expertise while supporting key Space Force clients? Booz Allen is seeking a Financial Management Analyst to join our team in Colorado Springs. You will join a high-performance team supporting all facets of Space Force Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution (PPBE).

You will be responsible for preparing, updating, and executing the various financial documents needed during the current year execution phase, as well as presenting execution status, data, and plans to close-out current fiscal year funds to your mission area's key stakeholders. You will also be responsible for all past, current, and future resource and budgetary needs to include the review, evaluation, and maintenance of all Space Force capabilities.

You will provide financial oversight, advice, and monitoring of a major subordinate unit's financial execution. Finally, you will integrate operational data and financial data to advocate for mission capabilities while prioritizing resources against the most critical needs throughout all client budget execution and programming financial drills and exercises.

You Have:

  • 2+ years of experience with the Air or Space Force as a financial analyst supporting the various aspects of the PPBE process with heavy emphasis on Budget and Execution

  • Experience producing various budget financial documents, including AF 9s, MIPRs, or MORDs

  • Experience with various budget or accounting tools, including FMSuite, CRIS, DEAMS, CCaR, PowerBi, EDM, or ASARS

  • Experience developing draft financial estimates for Execution Plans, Spend Plans, and Unfunded Requirements submissions

  • Experience creating verbal and written communication products for clients, including presentations, memorandums, data analysis products, and financial documentation

  • Experience using Microsoft Office applications, including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel

  • Knowledge of the roles and responsibilities of an Air or Space Force Major or Field Headquarters Financial Analyst

  • Secret clearance

  • Bachelor's degree and 2+ years of experience with DoD financial management, or 4+ years of experience with DoD financial management in lieu of a degree

Nice If You Have:

  • 2+ years of experience above an operational wing or delta level

  • Experience with DoD acquisition systems, financial management, and processes

  • Knowledge of the various Space Force weapon systems and capabilities

  • Ability to independently multi-task as required and turn staff products rapidly in a dynamic team environment

  • Ability to work with both internal and external senior leaders, offices, directorates, and action officers

  • Possession of excellent organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills

  • Master's degree

  • Level II or III FM Certification or Certified Defense Financial Manager (CDFM) Certification

Clearance:

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $67,600.00 to $154,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
