What you'll do

Companies today are generating and storing vast amounts of data. To resolve litigation and investigations, they need the right technology and a sensible strategy from an analytics partner to execute an efficient, defensible, and comprehensive plan for data collection and analysis. They need to know what the data means to resolve what happened. Our teams of discovery and litigation analytics experts have extensive experience with data collection and preservation, forensics, processing, early case assessment, hosted and managed review, custom data analytics, and technology-assisted review. Our production and project management support capabilities, along with our expert analysis and testimony, produce sharp insights and credible results in urgent situations.

You'll be part of the team supporting our eDiscovery practice. Your work will involve a wide range of activities, such as:



  • Develop correspondence, engagement letters, and presentation materials for key client contacts.
  • Manage third-party vendor relationships, including soliciting bids, drafting SOWs, and serving as a point of contact for vendor contracting and invoicing needs.
  • Manage proposal and project estimate requests from key clients, including communicating with the client, clearing conflicts, making updates to the proposal based on the team's feedback, and working with delivery teams to build tailored estimates.
  • Prioritize multiple demands by considering risk, importance, urgency, political impacts, and other linkages. Assimilate unfamiliar issues rapidly and anticipate and resolve potential problems.
  • Support data logging, tracking, and audit functions related to the same.
  • Handle sensitive and urgent information from clients, AlixPartners personnel, and other contacts while exercising appropriate judgment when responding.

What you'll need

  • Bachelor's degree in paralegal studies or similar field preferred.
  • Prefer 1 - 2 years of experience with litigation, legal project or contracts management.
  • Experience with a professional services firm, law firm, or legal department preferred.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail with excellent proofreading skills.
  • Candidate must be discreet and able to handle highly confidential and sensitive subject matters.
  • Ability to prioritize and organize multiple responsibilities and tasks with flexibility to quickly and effectively adjust as needed
  • Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills; experience working with clients or customers preferred.
  • Self-starter who can anticipate needs and demonstrate exceptional common sense, intelligence, and judgment to effectively and efficiently complete tasks and solve problems.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Willingness to work outside of normal business hours, and in particular as unique projects/needs arise.
  • Ability to work full time in an office and remote environment; physically able to sit/stand at a computer and work in front of a computer screen for significant portions of the workday

The salary range for this role takes into account a number of factors and is between $80,000/year - $100,000/year with potential eligibility for annual discretionary bonus.
