Job Duties: Associate, Sales Strategies with Goldman Sachs & Co. LLC in New York, New York. Pitch, structure, and distribute, in English and Spanish, structured financings in the form of loans, bonds, and bilateral principal transactions with international and local institutional clients, sovereigns, and investors. Negotiate and review complex legal documents and key transaction legal documentation including loan agreements, indentures, and offering memoranda, and perform both quantitative and qualitative analysis on the same. Work with clients, trading, banking, and sales to perform the structuring and execution of tailored investment and financing strategies for Latin America and other Emerging Markets-based clients. Work closely with trading and trade strategists to determine hedging strategies to reduce residual market risk to the Firm. Monitor and manage existing bilateral transactions with each counterparty to minimize residual credit risk to the Firm. Coordinate internal clearance and approval processes for structured transactions. Work with rating agencies to understand ratings criteria and manage the credit rating process for each transaction financed through the international public and private debt capital markets. Work with the syndicate desk on deal pricing and execution, including direct contact on diligence with potential investors as part of deal marketing.

Job Requirements: Bachelor's degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Business Administration, Finance, Financial Mathematics, Mathematics, or a related field and two (2) years of experience in job offered or a related role. Prior experience must include two (2) years of experience with: building financing models and stress analysis including financing scenarios, debt sizing, and debt and securities pricing; communicating qualitative and quantitative models, market research, and highly structured financing transactions to non-technical clients; conducting detailed due diligence on companies and assets; drafting memos and presentations for credit and committee approval; preparing marketing presentations and scenario analysis; and Bloomberg Terminal and Microsoft Excel. Travel Required: 5-10% of the time to visit clients in Latin America. Fluency in Spanish required.

Salary Range: Annual base salary for this New York, New York -based position is $191,000.
