General Job Description: This position will play a key role in the growth of a multi-billion-dollar organization by providing technical leadership, direction and oversight of IT operations. Reporting to the CIO, this role will be responsible for the leadership of IT Operations, Infrastructure and Cloud Technologies for ACCO Engineered Systems. The key areas of focus include strategic sourcing, consolidating and modernizing operations, and evaluate/deployment of future technologies. The Director of IT Operations and Cloud will be responsible for the development and implementation of IT policies and procedures that support business growth. This position will drive robust new technology that will meet the operational demands of an internal complex infrastructure as well as increase the value proposition that ACCO provides to its customers. The experience and "know how" of this role will help drive stronger ownership and success of the company. Supervises: Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Actively develops long-range strategy planning initiatives that will address complex business issues and meet long-term business strategies, particularly in leveraging cloud technologies for scalability and efficiency
- Provides leadership to cross-functional teams and work closely with business units to support technology products that are customer-facing, ensuring seamless integration with cloud infrastructure
- Provides strong leadership by coaching and mentoring of management, technical staff and external resources, with an emphasis on cloud technologies and best practices.
- Participate in training, succession planning, behavior modeling and constant feedback to build long-term success for the application teams, specifically related to cloud technologies and their implementation.
- Build strong relationships with business leaders across organization to maximize IT services.
- Take responsibility for successful business outcomes.
- Works with business unit managers and forms alliances on projects, operational decisions, scheduling requirements/conflicts and vendor contract clarification, especially concerning cloud services and their integration
- Explores new technologies to ensure high performance of the IT department or to maximize business value to customers, with a focus on cloud-based solutions and their potential applications
- Participates in the architecture of security software and is responsible for implementation, particularly in relation to cloud security and data protection. Constantly assesses the effectiveness of IT services and implementation of complex technical systems and makes recommendations on resources needed to maximize cost and effectiveness.

- Must have strong communication skills and be able communicate effectively across all aspects of the organization.
Position Requirements (Skills, Work Experience, Education, Certifications, Licenses, etc.):
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science or relevant field
- Minimum five years in leadership position (Director or above) with a team larger than 15 people.
- Minimum three years of experience in managing enterprise change control process
- 10 to 15 years of experience in IT and business/industry work
- Proven leader respected by executive, peers.
- Experience managing a lamp stack application stack
- Advanced Knowledge in software development life cycle, quality assurance, project management and other related disciplines.
- Proven track record of business savvy leadership by influencing senior management and key stakeholders.
- Proven ability to promote best practices to all IT team members.
- Proven ability to promote an enterprise environment.
- Demonstrated effective communication and organizational skills.
Additional Skills/Abilities Preferred, but Not Required:
- Proven success in an Information Technology role at a mid-size company (revenues of $300 million - $700 million). Preferred, not required
- Proven success in an Information Technology role at a Fortune 500 company (revenues >$2 billion). Preferred, not required.

Travel: 0-5% of the time to and from the primary office to regional branch offices. Competitive Wages: $157,500 to $207,750 annually.
