The work is deal-focused and exciting, and will bring you in contact with a wide range of businesses, industries, investment structures and products. The Private Credit business at Goldman Sachs Asset Management is one of the world's largest alternative credit investing platforms with approximately $113bn of AUM and investment professionals based in the US, Europe, Asia and Australia. The Private Credit business originates investments across senior secured loans, mezzanine/unsecured debt, preferred equity and opportunistic credit and invests both the firm's capital and capital raised from outside investors across a wide range of industries. We are seeking an experienced Associate to join the investing team and focus on workouts and restructurings within the Private Credit portfolio. In this role, the Associate will work with portfolio companies predominately in the US but covering all industries. The role will provide significant opportunities for direct interaction with portfolio company executives and senior leaders within GS Private Credit. The ideal candidate will bring 2-4 years of relevant experience in financial restructuring and will have strong financial modeling skills, communication skills, and knowledge of bankruptcy proceedings, legal frameworks, and distressed debt markets.
