Supreme Rice is looking for Shift Supervisors for our Parboil Plant in Mermentau, LA. This position manages a team of 2-4 employees and is responsible for the daily parboil plant operations. Must be able to work in extreme temperatures - heat and cold.
This position alternates working days and nights with 4 days on and 2 days off - 12 hour shifts.
DUTIES - Ensure the team is following guidelines for quality, speed, safety and efficiency - Maintain workflow by monitoring production process and equipment; ensuring quality requirements are met - Analyze production performance results - Maintain a safe and clean work environment SKILLS REQUIRED - Supervisory experience required - Strong level of knowledge/experience in mechanical maintenance Supreme Rice headquarters is located in Crowley, Louisiana - the heart of the Southwest Louisiana Rice Region.
