Job Description

The Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) collaborates with the Clinical Nurse in planning, providing, and evaluating the direct nursing care of patients. Works under the direction of a Registered Nurse.

QUALIFICATIONS

Possesses the education and/or experience equivalent to that acquired in an accredited school of Vocational Nursing.

Ability to communicate in English and to perform potentially complex reading, writing, spelling and mathematics.

Ability to prioritize and organize independently.

License/Certification/Registration Requirements

Current Basic Lifesaving Certification - American Heart Association (ACLS, PALS, NRP as per unit standard).

Licensed Vocational Nurse - Board of Vocational Nursing and Psychiatric Technicians; Successfully passes the State Board Examinations and is licensed to practice in the State of California.

Salary Range:

$44.02 - $54.58 USD Hourly
