Position Summary

The Application Services department is seeking an Expert IT Business Analyst. The Expert IT Business Analyst will help develop and implement governance, processes, and standards to effectively execute the managed service agreements with partners. This position is an integral role in the managed services governance processes and support major programs within Application Services.

This position is hybrid, working from your remote office and the Oakland General Office (OGO) up to two days a week and or as business needs require.

PG&E is providing the salary range that the company in good faith believes it might pay for this position at the time of thejob posting. This compensation range is specific to the locality of the job. The actual salary paid to an individual will bebased on multiple factors, including, but not limited to, specific skills, education, licenses or certifications, experience,market value, geographic location, and internal equity.Although we estimatethe successful candidate hiredinto this rolewill beplaced between the entry point and the middle of the range, the decisionwill be made on a case-by-casebasis related tothese factors.This job is also eligible to participate inPG&E's discretionary incentive compensation programs.

A reasonable salary range is:

Bay Area Minimum: $109,000

Bay Area Maximum: $175,000

Job Responsibilities

  • Review and track to completion the contract requirements.
  • Recommend contractual constructs to key stakeholders.
  • Execute and manage contracts awarded to Managed Services suppliers or other contracts within Application Services.
  • Log, review and track status of issues (supplier, contract, escalation level, not operational) progress, resolution and escalates, as needed.
  • Facilitate meetings and drive adherence to charters, required participants, and standing agendas.
  • Schedule and conduct Internal and External Contract Reviews and develop and document Improvement Action Plan. Work with Performance team on managing the Action Plan
  • Organize and plan Joint Decision discussions in order to generate a recommendation for renewing the contract.
  • Maintain document repository and governance calendar.
  • Manage contractual deliverable process. Review and coordinate approval of contractual deliverables.
  • Work with Service Managers to conduct periodic reviews.
  • Partner with all levels of IT leadership to ensure governance of supplier services.
  • Review and validate monthly supplier invoices.
  • Gather Data from different sources and understand the effectiveness and accuracy of the data extracts.
  • Various tracking and maintenance of data and reports.
  • Program/Project Support
    • Financial Support: Reporting, Forecasting,Analyze and Budget variances.
    • Maintain appropriate documentation as needed.
    • Create Job Estimates and route in Planisware to appropriate approvers.
    • Reconcile time and material invoices and post monthly GRs, Held GRs, and allocations accordingly.
  • Support leadership presentations and support as needed.
  • Special assignments as needed to support IT and the Application Services organization.

Qualifications

Minimum:

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration or job-related discipline or equivalent experience
  • 4 years of job-related experience in Information Technology
  • 3 years of experience in business analysis

  • Skilled in evaluating IT processes, implementing improvements and achieving cost savings
  • Ability to maintain flexibility
  • Expertise in MS Office Suite, Ariba, SAP and ability to learn new technologies quickly
  • Strong understanding of the utility industry and all major functional areas of the related Lines of Business
  • Graduate Degree or equivalent experience
  • Working knowledge of procurement and sourcing processes
  • Working knowledge of relational databases, including data querying
  • Understanding of IT operational processes and support model
