Job Description
OUR TEAM: We are Promega's Integration and Customer Enablement Team-an international group of technology and business analysts dedicated to driving innovation and process improvement. Our mission is to provide technical leadership for Promega's integration tools and direct purchase customer relationships. By leveraging integration technology, we create meaningful solutions for both our internal teams and external customers.
YOUR ROLE: As a eBusiness Analyst, you will be responsible for managing business integration projects with our customers. You'll play a critical role in supporting and enhancing integration solutions that facilitate seamless data exchange between internal systems and external customer platforms. Drawing on your expertise in integration technologies and best practices, you'll advise on strategic integration plans, ensure project success, and drive continuous process improvements that align with Promega's mission and customer needs.
JOB OBJECTIVE: The eBusiness Analyst collaborates with internal business teams, customers, and IT staff to enhance and automate business processes related to eCommerce, EDI, Helix, and related systems. This role focuses on analyzing, documenting, testing, and implementing solutions that improve visibility, efficiency, and transaction functionality with customer systems.
CORE DUTIES:
1. Assist in managing B2B eCommerce solutions and integrations between internal teams, customers, and service providers.
2. Support the development, maintenance, and optimization of hosted and punchout catalogs to improve visibility.
3. Collaborate with customers, third parties, and internal teams to develop and implement automated order processing and eInvoicing solutions for efficiency and accuracy.
4. Assist in testing, troubleshooting, and validating system enhancements, system patches, and new functionalities.
5. Work with internal teams to improve eCommerce processes and ensure alignment with corporate initiatives.
6. Support training initiatives to educate sales and customer service teams on eCommerce capabilities.
7. Document business requirements, solutions, and process improvements, presenting findings and recommendations as needed.
8. Assist with project management tasks, tracking progress, and maintaining project documentation.
9. Solicit feedback from business units and work with IT teams to identify and implement process improvements to enhance IT support and services.
10. Participate in after-hours business calls with international colleagues.
11. Travel internationally as needed.

KEY QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Bachelor's degree in business, Information Systems, or equivalent.
2. 2+ years of experience in an eBusiness, eCommerce, or business process automation role.
3. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
4. Excellent communication and organizational skills.
5. Basic knowledge of sales and transactional processes, procurement, and invoicing technologies.
6. Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP) is a plus.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Experience working in an Agile environment (Kanban or Scrum).
2. Experience with eProcurement systems (e.g., Ariba, Coupa, Jaggaer).
3. Familiarity with B2B integration technologies (e.g., EDI, XML, API-based connections).
4. Hands-on experience with PunchOut catalogs and eCommerce platforms.
5. Experience with data analysis tools (e.g., SQL, Power BI, Excel macros).
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
1. Ability to travel in the US and internationally.
2. Ability to occasionally work outside of normal business hours.
3. Ability to use a computer/Microsoft Office application.
