DESCRIPTION OF WORK

As a Director of Residential Unit Management, you will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient and effective operations of all residential living areas within the center. You will be responsible for overseeing program services functions, including planning, organizing, and implementing various initiatives to enhance the quality of life for our residents. Additionally, you will provide supervision and leadership to Residential Services Unit Managers, who oversee the day-to-day functioning of our residential living areas. As a member of a sub-group of division directions at the center, you will work closely with the Director of Program Services to ensure the overall success and growth of our facility.

- Full-time employment, 37.5 hours per week
- Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.
- Weekends and holidays as operationally needed
- Some 2nd and 3rd shifts are required
- Overtime and travel as operationally necessary
- Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY

QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- One year as a Residential Services Unit Manager (commonwealth title); or
- Four years of professional therapeutic experience in a residential program providing rehabilitative, restorative, or habilitative care program services for individuals with a developmental disability, including three years in a supervisory capacity, and a bachelor's degree in behavioral sciences, psychology, social work, education, nursing, business, or hospital administration; or
- An equivalent combination of experience and training that includes three years of professional supervisory therapeutic experience in a residential program providing rehabilitative, restorative, or habilitative care program services for individuals with a developmental disability.

- You must be able to perform essential job functions.
Legal Requirements:
- A conditional offer of employment will require a medical examination.
- This position falls under the provisions of the Older Adult Protective Services Act.
- Under the Act, a conditional offer of employment will require submission and approval of satisfactory criminal history reports, including but not limited to, PA State Police and FBI clearance.
