The Industrial Engineer will seek and propose opportunities to prevent waste and inefficiency in production processes. This role is responsible to aid in the review, analytics, and design proposal for more efficient systems and processes that integrate workers, production and capacity information, technology, and materials to enhance the company's service levels. The Industrial Engineer will assist in the design of equipment and layouts which will minimize production issues and costs while ensuring processes meet quality and delivery standards. In addition, this role will partner with various stakeholders to support the design, development and maintenance of procedural processes to maximize effectiveness, efficiency and space. The industrial engineer will also partner with facilities and EHS to ensure the company complies with all industry standards for safety while meeting design standards and guidelines. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- * Review production information to understand methods and activities in processes and services. This includes, but is not limited to, production schedules, process flows and engineering specs.
- * Assist in the proposal and design of control systems to minimize and resolve production issues and project costs
- * Work with operations stakeholders, facilities, and EHS departments to design, engineer and provide process flow for internal operations
- * Partner with internal operations leadership for improvements in alignment with organizational goals leveraging methodologies such as six sigma and lean.
- * Identify and participate in processes and procedures focused on increasing productivity, reducing costs, and improving safety and quality.
- * Provide technical expertise, to include cost/benefit analysis, in order to justify capital projects, and other misc. engineering projects and programs.

Education, Experience and Qualifications Education
- * Bachelor's degree in industrial engineering or another closely related field required Experience
- * 2-4 years of previous warehousing and/or manufacturing experience
- * Experience utilizing statistical tools in problem solving, including excel, SQL and/or other analytical tools
- * Proven experience utilizing CAD and Visio to produce layouts
- * Demonstrate working knowledge of lean principals, distribution or fulfillment processes and logistics business systems
- * Proven ability to lead projects to successful and on-time completion, yielding efficiencies and cost savings Qualifications
- * Maintain excellent collaboration skills with the ability to deal tactfully, confidently and ethically with both internal and external customers, suppliers, and vendors
- * Must demonstrate strong verbal, written communication and presentation skills, across multiple leadership levels within the organization
- * Must be able to perform in-depth root cause analysis and translate pertinent information to support meaningful solutions / output for the business
