Position Details:



  • Pay: $17.00-$17.50/hr
  • 1st Shift: 6 am-2:30 pm, Monday-Friday plus OT/Weekend as needed
  • 2nd Shift: 2 pm-10:30 pm, Monday-Friday plust OT/Weekend




As a Material Handler, you will be responsible for loading and unloading products from delivery vehicles and storage areas, reading production schedules and work orders to determine the materials to be moved, gathered, or distributed. You will transport materials from receiving or production areas to storage locations, sort and place items on racks, shelves, or bins according to predetermined sequences, and fill requisitions to distribute materials to production workers or assembly lines. Additionally, you will assemble customer orders, move them to packing stations or shipping departments, mark materials with identifying information, and open containers like bales or crates. You will also record materials received or distributed, ensuring compliance with company standards, weigh or count items for distribution, arrange stock parts for assembly, and maintain accurate inventory records in the system. Finally, you'll keep the warehouse clean and organized as needed.

Qualifications:



  • High school diploma or GED
  • 1-3 months of related experience preferred
  • Ability to handle measurements in currency, weight, volume, and distance
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
  • Able to lift up to 50 pounds regularly
  • Comfortable with standing, walking, kneeling, and crouching
  • Exposure to moving mechanical parts, vehicles, and varying temperatures
