Description
The Quality Assurance Technician provides support for production, purchasing, product development, project managers, and customer to ensure that all applicable regulations and customer expectations are met in the production process. ESSENTIAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Provide daily support to all manufacturing cells and other internal customers for Quality related issues and concerns.
- Performing the first piece inspection process for all finished goods.
- Investigate non-conforming material; write investigation reports. Update NCM raw materials and finished product disposition.
- Work on special projects as assigned by the QA Manager or QA Supervisor.
- Train and develop future QA technicians.
- Maintain the training and ability to review each document within the DHR.
- Train and develop production floor associates in quality, procedures, and production records.
- Sample/Inspect all applicable incoming raw materials. Perform testing as needed.
- Monitor and maintain solution and finished product retain samples. Perform annual inspection of drug product retains.
- Manage QA Hold/Quarantine area.
- Obtain environmental samples per schedule.

This position is designated as Safety-Sensitive (A safety-sensitive position is one in which the associate's inability or impaired ability to perform their job-related tasks could result in a direct threat to the associate's safety or the safety of others). This is a night shift position (7:00pm - 7:00am) You are scheduled to work 15 days per month. We are a 24/7 facility with a 12 hr rotating 2-2-3 Schedule Benefits:

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: (To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each of the essential accountabilities satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.)
- High School Diploma/GED, required plus a minimum of 3 years' experience in Quality, a Laboratory setting or Wet Wipes manufacturing; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in technical, quality or life science preferred, or any combination of equivalent education and experience.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) required.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Ability to communicate across all levels of the organization.
- Working knowledge of the FDA's regulations (21 CFR) is highly recommended.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment with limited supervision is a plus.

- Ability to make sound decisions and influence others.

- Must be able to communicate face-to-face and over the phone

- Requires ability to read, write, calculate, and analyze.
- Requires good visual acuity with depth perception and color vision.
