Seasonal Outreach Educator

Three Rivers Park District is seeking to fill Seasonal Outreach Educator positions at Mississippi Gateway Regional Park in Brooklyn Park, MN. The position is responsible for developing and leading nature-based education and recreation programs, along with community partners, focused on raising awareness and increasing access to nature both close to home and in Three Rivers parks.

A natural resources-based park system, Three Rivers Park District manages more than 27,000 acres of parks and trails in the Twin Cities area. It takes a dedicated team of full-time, part-time and seasonal employees to provide the high-quality opportunities and facilities that Three Rivers provides. All seasonal employees receive a free Recreation Activity Pass, providing access to discounted or complimentary Park District programs and services.

High School Graduate or Graduate Equivalency Degree (GED) and at least one year of experience or related training OR any combination of education and experience equal to the above. Bachelor's degree in a related area preferred. Previous experience working with youth preferred.

Must have a valid Minnesota Driver's License. Previous experience driving vehicles with trailers or willingness to be trained preferred.
