Role and Responsibilities:


CW Resources is seeking a motivated and ambitious individual for our 3rd shift Assistant Project Manager / Operational Assistant Supervisor. Someone who is ready to roll up their sleeves and take charge! In this role, you'll not only assistant in the supervision and support a dedicated team, but you'll also be actively involved in the day-to-day physical operations that continue to maintain our high-quality standards.



  • Assist in the oversight of a team comprised primarily of individuals with disabilities to provide services to a military grocery store.

  • This is not a desk job! Be prepared to engage in manual labor, including moving products, setting up displays, and handling equipment.

  • Will lift, bend, pull, push and assist with other tasks at the store to ensure operational efficiency and timely completion of contract related work.

  • Train, schedule, and supervises staff members to ensure excellent customer service and operational efficiency.

  • Adapts to changing needs and schedules as necessary, works flexible hours to meet the demands of 3rd shift operations.

  • Assist in the oversight of the cleanliness, and maintenance of the store, to include floor care and all housekeeping requirements.

  • Ensures store shelves are properly and consistently stocked, rotated and expired items removed.

  • Ensures thorough organization of grocery store warehouse, in addition to receiving, handling and inventory count.

  • Tackles operational challenges as they arise while maintaining high quality standards.

  • Upholds safety standards across the store, ensuring that all safety protocols are followed, and that the team is trained in safe workplace practices.

  • Complies with all established company policies and procedures while upholding the security and confidentiality of documents and data.

  • Ensures compliance with all relevant regulations, including food safety standards, health codes, and military guidelines.

  • Communicates job responsibilities and performance expectations to commissary team.

  • Performs other related duties as assigned.


Qualifications:



  • Minimum of (1) year' supervisory experience (Preferred)

  • Minimum of (1) year' experience working in a grocery store warehouse or related field (Preferred)

  • Must have a valid driver's license


Preferred Skills:



  • Knowledge of how to effectively schedule workers (Preferred)

  • Familiarity with Outlook, SharePoint, Word, and Excel (Preferred)

  • Ability to organize work processes

  • Strong commitment to high level of service and quality standards.

  • Demonstrated ability to coach, motivate, develop and lead teams.

  • Ability to plan and organize.

  • Proficient technological and computer software skills.
