Acentra seeks a GenAI/Market Research Assistant to join our growing team.

Job Summary:

The GenAI/Market Research Assistant will serve as an integral part of our Strategy and Analytics teams, collaborating closely with other members across key departments. This role involves leveraging Generative AI (GenAI) and traditional research mechanisms across internally-focused projects. The intern is expected to apply their knowledge of Research and AI, specifically GenAI, to identify and deliver deeper market insights. This position is tailored for an individual who is highly motivated to both apply and enhance their expertise in a dynamic, results-oriented setting.

This position offers the flexibility of part-time remote work, beginning in January and extending through December.

Job Responsibilities:

• Collaborate closely with the internal teams to identify opportunities for leveraging data analytics, AI, and GenAI to gain deeper insights and establish new analysis and reporting capabilities
• Craft written requirements prior to beginning new projects. This includes scope, goals, rationale, approach and expected outcomes
• Assist in the development and implementation of prompts that support Strategy, Marketing, HR, and other internal functions with analysis and decision-making processes
• Participate in the research, data evaluation, extraction, cleaning, and analysis of internal and external data and text to identify market trends, opportunities, and insights
• Collaborate with team members on research and development projects f to address complex business challenges
• Contribute to the creation of visualizations and reports to communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders
• Participate in the development and implementation of best practices and procedures for the Strategy and Analytics/AI team

Required Qualifications/Experience:

• Bachelor's degree or Current enrollment in an undergraduate or post-graduate program in Data Science, Computer Science, Business, or a related field
• Ability to communicate complex information clearly and effectively
• Strong interpersonal skills for effective verbal communication, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences
• Capacity to maintain a positive attitude and contribute both individually and as a team member to achieve the department's objectives

Preferred Qualifications/Experience:

• Solid working knowledge of AI and GenAI technologies (e.g. ChatGPT, prompt engineering, prompt patterns)
• Experience with programming languages and tools commonly used in data analysis (e.g., Python, R)
• Previous internship or project experience with ChatGPT
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and in team settings
• Strong problem-solving skills and a passion for innovation
