Inventory Cycle Counter

In this job you will be responsible for monitoring inventory accuracy and performing cycle counts to ensure that all materials are properly accounted for.

As an Inventory Cycle Counter you will:



  • Monitor and control inventory accuracy and integrity
  • Cycle count materials on production floor, and in the warehouse, based on the "ABC" grouping system, as directed by the Inventory Analyst
  • Support ad hoc cycle count requests or other inquiries by Supply Chain, Operations, Engineering, and Finance
  • Investigate variances by completing root cause analysis and working with related departments to resolve issues driving variances, as well as implementing corrective actions to eliminate future problems.
  • Perform random bin maintenance audits and report on inventory accuracy.
  • Ensure materials are in proper locations.
  • Conduct searches to locate misclassified inventory.
  • Assist in maintaining ERP transactional data, including JDE inventory locations and transactional movement between JDE locations.
  • Participate in physical inventory counts, including at offsite and third-party warehouse locations.
  • Audit all inventory transactions for company-owned material moving to or from a third-party offsite location.


We are looking for someone who:



  • Is able to work well in independently and within a team.
  • Is able to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Has a high attention to detail
  • Is able to perform various job functions within the organization's warehouse.
  • Has the ability to follow procedures and best practices and report unsafe and unprofessional behavior.
  • Holds a High School diploma, GED or combination of work experience and skill development
  • Must be able to understand and follow verbal and written instructions in English.


It is preferred if you have:



  • Experience working with a manufacturing business or inventory management system.
  • 3-years' experience in material handing in a manufacturing environment


The physical demands of the job are:



  • General Office Environment, PC use
  • Light Lifting (frequently up to 25lbs)
  • Stooping
  • Standing (frequently)
  • Heavy Lifting (occasional 25 lbs +)
  • Gripping and manipulation (frequent to constant)
  • Prolonged computer usage


What we offer you:

Pay Range is typically between $21 - $26 per hour
