Biweekly Hours: 80 Renown Health, Northern Nevada's largest and only not-for-profit healthcare network, is hiring a Peripheral Vascular Surgeon. Join our growing Department of Surgery, division of Vascular Surgery, practicing in the region's busiest full-service Heart and Vascular Institute and the only Level II Trauma Center serving a catchment area of over 900,000. The successful candidate will be a BE/BC Surgeon with Fellowship training in Peripheral Vascular Surgery and will join three senior level Peripheral Vascular surgeons and 2 dedicated First Assist APPs in the department of Vascular surgery. The Peripheral Vascular Surgeon will provide services for patients in the community, work to elevate our Acute-Care Vascular Surgery program, as well as, support the growth of our ECMO program, Cardiovascular Service line, and Vascular Medicine program. The Surgeon will be expected to evaluate new inpatient consults and have comfort in covering vascular trauma. Incumbents will also help develop the Vascular Surgery Outpatient Clinic seeing both pre- and post-op consults. Ideal candidates must be proficient in complex open and complex endovascular procedures. As Joint Faculty, our physicians teach Residents and Medical Students for the University of Nevada, Reno School of Medicine.
