Our team in Corporate Group Distributed Web Applications is looking for a Senior Programmer Analyst to join them. You will report to the Manager of IT Applications and will have a hybrid work schedule in East Aurora, NY.

The Moog Distributed Web Applications team oversees numerous global applications, primarily focusing on .NET. As a Senior Programmer Analyst, you will serve as a subject matter expert, gathering requirements for our development team to implement. This position demands a robust technical background and comprehensive planning skills for full stack web development.

To be considered for the Senior Programmer Analyst role, here's what you'll typically need to bring with you:

  • Typically, a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field with 3+ years' relevant experience.
    • A combination of experience and education, or equivalent professional experience, may also be considered.
  • Proven experience as a Web Developer with a strong portfolio of web applications.
  • Proficiency in Blazor and .NET Core/Framework.
  • Experience with Microsoft Azure services and deployment.
  • Strong understanding of front-end technologies, such as HTML, CSS and C#.
  • Familiarity with RESTful APIs and web services.
  • Experience with Azure SQL (PaaS/IaaS)
  • Proficiency in DevOps practices and tools (e.g., Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines), knowledge of various cloud platforms and services, familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies, and hands-on experience with Azure Data Factory and Terraform would be beneficial.

As a Senior Programmer Analyst, you will:

  • Develop and maintain web applications using Blazor and .NET technologies.
  • Design, implement, and manage cloud-based solutions on Microsoft Azure.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and implement features.
  • Leverage best practices to ensure applications are performant and stable.
  • Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs.
  • Help maintain code quality, organization, and automation.
  • Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies.

Salary Range Transparency:

Buffalo, NY $80,000.00-$100,000.00 Annually

Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The range(s) listed is just one component of Moog's total compensation package for employees.
