Accounting Intern - Summer Intern

The Opportunity

The Accounting Intern will assist with the daily and quarterly tasks of the General Accounting department which will bring classroom learning to life. Interns will form a good base knowledge of accounting operations, in addition to providing an introduction to time management and prioritization.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with master data clean up within our reconciliation and close task tool
  • Create an Org Chart in Adonis.
  • Miscellaneous Ad-Hoc projects / tasks (posting journals, automation, etc.)
  • Process Documentation

Job Requirements:

  • Preferred Majors: Accounting
  • Accepted Majors: Finance and Business Management
  • Grade Level: Rising Junior and Senior undergraduate. Master's student.
  • Basic accounting knowledge
  • Good problem solving and teamwork
  • Microsoft Office knowledge (mainly excel and word)
  • Good written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to learn other systems quickly
