Aspen's CORE Values We Do the Right Thing We are Problem Solvers We are Allies We Drive Forward What you will do- The Sr. HRIS Analyst will support the daily operations and assist in the design, delivery, support, and maintenance of HR technology solutions for Aspen. This role will primarily focus on data integrity and audits, advanced report writing and analytics, dashboards, and system configuration associated with our human capital management system (UKG Pro) and other platforms as needed.
- Manage and optimize UKG Pro (Core HCM) and WFM solutions to analyze data, improve processes, and enhance system utilization, ensuring alignment with strategic business goals; provide advanced technical administration, maintenance, and data integrity through routine audits and corrections. Test and implement system upgrades or patches.
- Provide additional administration and support for various HRIS modules, including Benefits, Absence Management, Advanced Scheduling, Document Manager, and Talent Management (Performance, Succession, Recruitment), along with other HR systems like HRSoft.
- Develop, document, and maintain HR data architecture and process flows for HR technology, identifying opportunities for process improvement and workflow efficiency; serve as the primary point of contact for escalated technical HRIS issues, troubleshoot system challenges, and research solutions to enhance system performance.
- Is the SME for HR Technology projects, implementations, upgrades, and enhancements and assists in developing project plans, including required deliverables, timelines, test scripts, and involvement of team members.
- Manages permissions, access, personalization, and similar system operations and settings for HRIS users.
- Program custom functions and documentation such as automated queries, filters, macros, and reports.
- Provide system training to HR staff and other end-users using UKG Learning or Live Sessions. Develop engaging guides, resources, and documentation to maximize system adoption and ease of use.
- Conduct ad-hoc analysis and provide data-driven insights to HR and business partners on people-related issues, identifying trends and tracking goals; collaborate with the HR and Payroll Teams for accurate reporting and compliance using UKG Pro's HRIS BI tools. Contribute to HR dashboard development to monitor key workforce metrics (headcount, turnover, retention, diversity, etc.), create impactful presentations, and produce advanced HR reports and analytics to support HR programs and business decisions.
- Support Aspen's Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) HR and Payroll Technology controls, assisting with data calls from internal and external auditors; implement and maintain SOX controls specific to the UKG system, collaborating with internal audit, external audit, IT compliance, and IT teams to ensure adherence to regulatory standards and HRIS governance guidelines.
- Create upload file templates and tools to increase efficiencies in data processing.
- Development of data files for external vendors via SFTP or standard API integrations.
- Diagnose and resolve HCM configuration issues related to hourly time capture, transaction processing, payroll, and reporting to ensure accurate and efficient operations.
Why you are right for the job-
- Bachelor's degree in systems, HR, or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of experience developing and supporting HR Technology platforms and advanced HR data analytics, preferably UKG Pro and WFM technologies and all related modules (an emphasis on Reporting & Analytics and Payroll/WFM support experience). Supporting a global HR Technology is a plus.
- Experience with Oracle Finance and/or Dynamics 365 Finance (specifically Payroll to GL interface and Labor).
- Experience in analyzing HR Technology and HR performance metrics.
- Experience in documenting processes, as well as performing diagnostic tests and audits.
- Experience with Analysis and Reporting tools (BI/Dashboard)
- Well versed in HR business process and employee life cycle.
- Knowledge of collaboration, document repository, or intranet systems (like SharePoint)
- Knowledge of documentation, communication, and project management tools like MS Visio, MS Projects, and MS PowerPoint
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel, for data analysis and reporting.
- Possess excellent analytical and problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate with all levels of employees across the organization.
- Ability to multi-task, handle tasks or projects with competing priorities, and meet deadlines.
- Ability to provide stellar customer service while maintaining complete discreetness when dealing with highly sensitive or privileged information.
