About the Role
Redhorse transforms the way government uses data and technology. We are seeking a highly skilled Systems Engineer to provide best-in-class Systems Engineering support within a dynamic enterprise environment. This critical role directly impacts our ability to deliver exceptional service improvements across our customer's mission-critical IT ecosystem. You will contribute to strategic and operational decisions, collaborating with internal and external organizations to achieve positive results for program entities, Directorate Customers, and Industry Partners. This is a high-impact position offering significant opportunities for professional growth and contribution to national security objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide Systems Engineering and Project Management expertise, focusing on service delivery improvements.
  • Develop innovative Systems Engineering solutions to resolve complex problems using limited and disparate information.
  • Coordinate, facilitate, and verify Systems Engineering projects across multiple environments.
  • Support business process improvement and proposal development activities.
  • Ensure mission operations and baseline stability during transition activities.
  • Provide systems engineering technical support to special projects as needed.
Required Experience/Clearance
  • U.S. Citizenship with Current TS/SCI access and Polygraph (required to start).
  • BS degree and 4+ years of relevant experience OR MS degree and 8+ years of relevant experience.
  • Proven experience with one or more of the following in an enterprise environment: Cloud Systems familiarity; Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and Jira; ITSM; Experience installing/maintaining Commercial Off-the-Shelf (COTS) and Free Open Source Software (FOSS); Systems Engineering, Integration, and Test (SEIT).
  • Ability to communicate effectively in technical and non-technical verbal and written correspondence.
Desired Experience
  • Expert knowledge and application of advanced technical principles within the ITIL Framework Service Transition process.
  • Experience with AWS and other cloud technologies.
  • Experience with the client's Information Security Certification and Accreditation (C&A) and Assessment and Authorization (A&A) processes.
  • Experience configuring systems to meet customer security requirements.
  • Experience developing and coordinating system-to-system interfaces across enterprise applications and data stores.
  • Experience with Big Data Technologies.
  • Experience in leadership roles on Agile development teams.
