As the Design Release Engineer Assistant (DREA), you will:



  • Support resident DRE's releasing assigned products to vehicle program teams by assisting in tracking work orders and other release activities
  • Provide onsite product data logging support in test benches and vehicles
  • Support software and hardware update or retrofit request on customer test benches and vehicles
  • Act as a supplier resident at customer facilities and support tasks at multiple local customer locations
  • Other duties as assigned


Qualifications:



  • Bachelor's Degree in engineering or equivalent
  • Must possess a reliable personal vehicle and maintain a valid driver's license, as this role involves travel to various customer locations
  • Ability to lift testing equipment weighing up to 10 kg (22lbs)
  • Ability to learn and adapt to new software and hardware tools and technologies
  • Basic knowledge of telematics and infotainment products and technologies
  • Strong commitment to quality and attention to detail
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills


Preferred:



  • 1+ Years of related Automotive Engineering experience
