Department of Veterinary Medicine & Surgery Job Description
The College of Veterinary Medicine at MU is on a mission to educate and train outstanding clinicians and scientists, generate new knowledge, engage stakeholders, and foster economic growth, all of which promote and protect the health and welfare of animals and people. Simply put, our mission is to Teach, Heal, Discover, and Serve. We seek applicants for an open Radiologic Technologist to join our dedicated and high performing Radiology team. The Radiology Service at the Veterinary Health Center provides critical imaging services for both our large and small animal hospitals. Utilizing state-of-the-art equipment, our well-trained team provides high-quality diagnostic images, in a timely manner, and in a safe environment. Typical duties for the position will include:
Veterinarians throughout the Midwest refer animal clients to the Veterinary Health Center for specialized diagnoses and treatment. With sophisticated therapeutic equipment that includes an underwater treadmill, advanced imaging techniques, and groundbreaking equine lameness diagnostic equipment, we are a center for animal healthcare. Full-time 40 hours per week with typical hours being Monday through Friday, between 8a and 5p. Minimum Qualifications
ARRT certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT). Radiography program graduates must obtain ARRT within one (1) year as a condition of continued employment in this job classification. Preferred Qualifications
Prior experience working / handling animals is preferred but not required. Training in restraint and animal handling is provided if necessary. Successful candidate will exhibit the following skills and competencies:

Salary Range: Pay Range begins at $25.32 to $30.00 per hour Benefit Eligibility
