KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Support the team to efficiently execute the production plan to ensure on time delivery to the customer Use blueprints, sketches or descriptions to determine materials required and machines to be used to fabricate parts Utilize precision measuring tools such as; micrometers, calipers, dial indicator height stand and pin gauges Assemble, disassemble and clean die components Set up and operate lathe and surface grinder to machine parts to conform with part specification Examine dies, tools, jigs, and fixtures for defects Change over single hit and progressive dies according to drawing Support team to meet all goals QUALIFICATIONS High school graduate or equivalent is preferred. Must be able to work overtime including Saturdays as needed. Must be able to lift-up to 30 lbs. and both stand and /or sit for long periods of time. Must be able to add and subtract decimals and fractions and read engineering prints and measuring instruments. Required to plan and perform a sequence of operations where general methods are available. Must be able to meet qualifications / requirements of lower pay classifications. Work safely to prevent injury to self and others. Must be able to perform all the essential functions of the job with reasonable accommodation as specified by the ADA.
