Duties/Responsibilities


Duties/Responsibilities
Instruction
  • Contribute to the day-to-day teaching mission of the department, including but not limited to:

    • Course coordination responsibilities in collaboration with faculty coordinators in PHRM 5880 (Pharmacotherapy III)
    • Didactic lectures and facilitation of large group case discussions in Pharmacotherapy II, III, and IV (PHRM 4880, 5880, 5890)
    • Didactic instruction and facilitation of mock codes in PHRM 5170 (APP II)
    • Coordination of PHRM 5600 (ACLS Elective)
    • Teaching in elective course: PHRM 5600 (ACLS), PHRM 5370 (Critical Care), PHRM 5850 (residency)
    • Small group facilitation in essentials recitation classes (PHRM 3030, 3040, 4030, 4040)
    • Didactic teaching in PHRM 5750 (ADR/DDIs)
    • Didactic teaching in PHRM 3520 (Lab Values)
    • Didactic teaching in PHRM 3500 (career opportunities)
    • Experiential teaching in acute care APPEs

Duties/Responsibilities
Research

  • Contribute to the day-to-day research mission of the department
  • Contribute to the production and preparation of technical reports, scholarly papers, grant proposals, protocols, and other documentation relevant to the research work
  • Engage in on-going professional development as necessary to establish an independent line of extramurally funded research and/or service
  • Supervise junior personnel and coordinate the research activities and training of research assistants and students to ensure the successful implementation of all research functions
