Position Title: Warehouse Worker
Wage: $18-$20/hour Shift: 1st Hours: 8am-4:30pm, Flexible As a Warehouse Worker, you'll be at the heart of the operation-picking, packing, and shipping parts with precision, maintaining an error-free inventory, and ensuring seamless order fulfillment. From running UPS software to assembling components, inspecting for quality, and supporting engineering projects, this role offers a dynamic mix of hands-on work and system-driven processes. With opportunities to expand into SolidWorks and process improvements, you'll play a key role in keeping the operations running smoothly and customers satisfied. Warehouse Worker Responsibilities include but are not limited to: - Pull parts to fulfill orders - Pack up parts to be shipped - Run UPS software to label shipments - Fill out paperwork for invoicing after parts are shipped off Sales order - Receive parts into inventory that are received from our vendors - Put away parts after they are received into the software - Inspect parts for defects - Follow the process to ensure zero errors for the customers - Pick parts of a Build of Materials (BOM) for the shop to use when building a machine - Pick parts for job boxes to be shipped when installing a machine - Maintain the inventory system through scanning, picking, pulling, putting away, and arranging parts - Occasionally take a company vehicle and run errand (to pick up parts at a vendor or take steel in for powder coating, etc.) - Run cycle counts in the software - Assemble and build small assemblies to stock in inventory or to go on the machines (take 2, 3, 4, etc. parts and put them together off a blueprint to create a new part that is used and sold) - Cut large parts down per customer specifications (sleeves) - Help out engineering in SolidWorks program - Other duties as assigned Warehouse Worker Requirements: - Able to lift up to 50 pounds - Stand, walk for extended periods of time - Ability to perform repetitive tasks such as stooping, bending, turning, twisting, reaching, for an extended period of time - Make repetitious movements with hands, wrists, arms, and shoulders throughout shift QPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the Midwest.
