THIS IS A REMOTE POSITION

Job Roles

* Creates graphic materials for marketing campaigns to be placed in different venues that include, but are not limited to, print media, billboards, websites, and bus kiosks. Assists with the translation and/or revision of translated materials as needed.

* Develops, in conjunction with manager, marketing campaigns for varying, diverse target populations. Specifically focuses on graphic elements of marketing campaigns that meet customer goals and target audience needs. Determines linguistic and cultural appropriateness and efficacy of marketing materials, activities, methods, strategies, programs, etc.

* Participates in and supports all FHCSD public relations, promotions, and publicity directed at individuals and the community.

* Performs other duties as assigned.

* Serves as a liaison with vendors; delivers artwork in appropriate formats and timely manner. Works with vendors to ensure materials are high quality, timely, within budget, and meet project specifications.

Education/Certifications/Licenses/Registrations

* 2 years experience in graphic art and design, both print and web-based media, is required.

* Bachelor's degree in graphic arts or closely related field. An equivalent amount of highly relevant experience may be substituted for the degree requirement.

* Bilingual in Spanish/English preferred.

Experience/Specialized skills (including Language)

* Ability to work well in both a team-based environment and independently.

* Demonstrated ability to be culturally sensitive and respect diversity.

* Document Layout Proficiency in: InDesign/Adobe Creative Suite

* Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.

* Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, time-management skills, and strong motivation to meet deadlines and achieve goals.

* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

* Knowledge of health related topics preferred.

* Web Development Proficiency in: HTML, CSS, Cold fusion, Javascript, Word press, Joomla- Web site layout, converting Photoshop images into working web pages, search engine optimization, FTP management, table code mastery, web site modernization, table - less design, Action Script & Action Script 3.

21.26 - 30.47

If you are hired at Family Health Centers of San Diego, your final base salary compensation will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, jurisdictional requirements, skills, education, and/or experience. In addition to these factors - we believe in the importance of pay equity and consider internal equity of our current team members as a part of any final offer. Please keep in mind that the range mentioned above is what we reasonably expect to pay for the role. Hiring at the maximum of the range would not be typical in order to allow for future and continued salary growth.
