General Information Country: USA State: Michigan City: Grand Rapids Office Location: 901 44th Street SE - - - - - Date posted: 10-Feb-2025 Business Function: Accounting/Finance Position Type: Full-Time/Regular Description We are hiring a Financial Systems Analyst to join our Finance Integrated Solutions Team. This role combines business systems analysis, financial analysis and reporting to support solutions and serve as an intermediary between IT and the business. What You Will Be Doing: Directly contributing to the digital-business transformation of finance across regions and functions including an SAP migration to S/4 HANA. Maximizing the efficiency and effectiveness of financial systems in order to improve the financial performance of Steelcase. Collaborate with IT to configure system settings and options as well as create specifications for SAP S/4 HANA and other systems to meet financial requirements. Assist in developing custom reports to meet requirements of the finance organization. Provide technical advice and support to users of financial systems. Who You Are: You have a strong understanding of both finance and information systems. You are genuinely curious and eager to learn. Your ability to build partnerships across the organization allows you to achieve goals and interact well with all levels of the business. You are excited to lead positive change for the organization. Required Skills and Competencies: At least 2 years applicable experience with finance and systems Proficient with finance-specific software including data analysis and automation tools Excellent analytical skills Strong understanding of finance and accounting, business operations and financial software systems Undergraduate degree in Accounting, Finance or Management Information Systems Preferred Skills and Competencies: Prior experience evaluating, implementing and optimizing finance and accounting systems Proficiency in SAP (S/4 HANA strongly preferred) Proficiency with SQL or other query tools CMA, MBA, CPA or other evidence of technical competence Who We Are: Steelcase is a global design and thought leader in the world of work.
