Intern - Chemistry

This position requires working onsite in Lake Zurich, Illinois3+ days per week.

Must commit to 10 weeks of internship.

• The candidate will support both benchtop analytical chemistry testing of medical devices as well as prepare written deliverables.
• The role entails hands-on laboratory work, including preparation of reagents, operating state-of-the art analytical chemistry instrumentation and data extraction / analysis.
• Additionally, the candidate will help to prepare testing protocols, reports and written summaries.

• Minimum sophomore standing with minimum 3.0 GPA.
• Demonstrated experience in benchtop chemistry required.
• Detail-oriented with superior organizational, written, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to exercise independent judgement and communicate effectively.
• Practical and theoretical knowledge of primary analytical techniques, such as GC, LC and mass spectrometry are a prerequisite.

• Currently enrolled as a student at an accredited college or university program; pursuing a degree related to the position
• Must be planning to return to school at the end of his/her break
• Must commit to 10 weeks of internship
