A Medical graft Technician serves as a processing team member, ensuring safe and effective processing of human tissue grafts for transplantation. A Processing Technician/ Medical Graft Technician will: Ensure allograft tissue is accurately processed, measured, labeled, packaged, and documented in a timely manner. In conjunction with Quality Control, responsible for operating and ensuring processing equipment is in good working order. Traditional Processing equipment includes, but is not limited to, band saws, drills, scissors, scalpels. Specialty Processing equipment includes, but is not limited to, skin meshers, TMI bone grinding equipment and vacuum sealers. Accurately monitor time-sensitive processes with regard to allograft tissue manufacturing. Assist in orientation and training of new employees as assigned. Complete assigned tasks in the processing area in a timely manner. Perform other duties as assigned. Minimum Requirements High school diploma or equivalent required.
