E2 Optics, an award-winning woman-owned technology integrator, is seeking a DAS/Wireless Project Manager to manage, plan, and execute DAS and wireless network projects. This role will oversee project budgeting, scheduling, and team coordination to ensure high-quality, on-time delivery. What You'll Do:
  • Pre-Project:
  • Collaborate with sales and engineering teams to provide pre-sales support and produce customer proposals.
  • Cultivate and maintain relationships with clients to secure and expand business opportunities.
  • Project Start-Up:
  • Interface with clients to assess scope, schedule, and resource needs.
  • Work with Operations to ensure materials, equipment, and labor are available.
  • Project Implementation:
  • Manage project schedules, including material purchases, deliveries, and returns.
  • Oversee subcontractors and vendors to streamline project activities and ensure timely delivery.
  • Resolve customer issues and plan deviations, communicating effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Monitor installation to ensure quality assurance practices and compliance with safety and budget requirements.
  • Represent the company in client meetings and ensure all project milestones are met.
  • Project Close-Out:
  • Ensure efficient and accurate project close-out, including customer acceptance and sign-off.
  • Manage documentation and ensure all construction-related documents are properly stored.
  • Team Development:
  • Provide coaching and guidance to team members to stay current with emerging technologies and best practices.
What We're Looking For:
  • Education:
  • High School Diploma or GED required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • RF Engineering degree or equivalent preferred.
  • Certified PMP and RCDD certifications preferred.
  • iBwave Design Certification (L1 and/or L2) required.
  • GROLL FCC License required.
  • OSHA 10 or 30 certification preferred.
  • Experience:
  • 8+ years of experience in wireless communication and telecommunications project management.
  • Experience in carrier RF system design and optimization.
  • Extensive knowledge of DAS technology, architecture, fiber design, and deployment requirements.
  • Proven experience managing in-building Cell DAS deployments.
  • 5+ years of supervisory experience and project management leadership.
  • Knowledge of PMBOK Guides and structured cabling industry standards.
  • Skills:
  • Strong decision-making, judgment, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and customer service skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, Visio) and MS Project; AutoCAD preferred.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks, prioritize work, and meet deadlines under pressure.
  • Strong teamwork and leadership skills to manage both internal teams and external vendors.
  • Travel Requirements:
  • Willingness to travel as needed for the role.

WORK ENVIRONMENT & PHYSICAL DEMANDS: The standard work environment for this position is an indoors business office and construction environment. Ability to use a computer and/or hand tools while sitting or standing for extended periods of time. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, talk or hear, use hands, stoop, kneel, bend, rotate, push, pull, reach with hands and arms on intermittent to regular basis daily. The employee is frequently required to stand and walk. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. The employee must regularly carry and climb ladders to 20 feet. The employee may be required to work in tight, confided spaces. The employee must demonstrate regular and on-time attendance. There could be a requirement of occasional travel by conventional means including aircraft, motor vehicle and the like within the region and to other locations as required. The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
