How You'll Perform the Role

The EHS Coordinator is responsible for administrating the Company's safety strategy, the development of safety policies and practices and coordinating a workplace focused on compliance with all Federal, State and Local industrial Standards. This individual will assist management in formulating strategic business plans concerning environmental, health and safety decisions, as well as planning and implementing the facility's safety and security programs to ensure an accident-free work environment.

Essential Functions & Key Responsibilities:



  • Develop and coordinate Safety Training for employees, ensuring that we are providing a safe and secure work environment focused on preventing accidents and mitigating risk.
  • Participate in the investigation of work-related illness and injuries; investigate all accidents, determining the root cause and ensuring corrective actions are implemented.
  • Coordinate the production and submission of OSHA and other governmental reports as required; work to ensure compliance with Federal and State regulations.
  • Coordinate safety metrics reporting such as leading indicators and incident rates.
  • Coordinate plant audits, identify hazards and manage personal exposure assessments.
  • Responsible for maintaining current State Drug Free certification and training employees on a drug-free workplace.
  • Assist with organizing and directing the employee Safety Committee, holding meetings to increase employee Safety Awareness.
  • Assist with Corporate projects and other tasks as assigned.


What We Need From You

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent with 2+ years of work experience
  • Experience training employees in an injection mold manufacturing environment strongly preferred
  • Bilingual (Spanish) a plus
  • Team player with the ability to manage multiple, competing priorities in a fast-paced work environment
  • Solid computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint, Project Management Software)
  • Superior organizational and time-management skills
  • Continuous improvement mindset
  • Confident, articulate, persuasive and culturally aware communicator with the ability to navigate diverse audiences and contexts
