Vaco Phoenix is looking for an Accounting/Payroll Administrator for a top client in Scottsdale AZ! The Accounting/Payroll Administrator will handle full cycle bookkeeping and invoice posting as well as payroll processing for over 300 employees. This is a direct hire position that is fully onsite and pays up to $65k/yr. Interviews are being held this week! Responsibilities: Oversee full-cycle bookkeeping and manage invoice processing. Track and record banking transactions. Enter journal entries and assist with account reconciliations. Administer company credit card and manage expense reimbursements. Support the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes. Ensure adherence to GAAP standards and maintain the integrity of accounting data. Organize and maintain documentation and files. Contribute to ongoing process enhancements. Respond promptly to inquiries from vendors and internal teams. Manage bi-weekly payroll processing for 350 employees. Verify gratuity and tip distribution. Reconcile benefit deductions and wage garnishments. Work closely with Operations to ensure timely payroll processing. Record payroll journal entries in the accounting system. Prepare and distribute payroll-related reports. Address any HR or payroll-related inquiries.
