Purpose/ Summary

This position is responsible for: Completing a timely and accurate closing every month. Reviewing and maintaining the General Ledger and it's details. Support Management and Operations with timely and reliable data/reports.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Perform analysis, record journal entries, account reconciliations, and maintain General Ledger for Pursuit Aerospace Manchester. Including: Cash, Fixed Assets, Payroll, Intercompany, Accrued Expenses, Prepaids, etc.
  • Perform financial analysis with operational and company key metrics in mind.
  • Provide monthly Sales Cost Detail to Management and FP&A.
  • Update Supplemental Data in Hyperion.
  • Provide guidance and support to all site members for ERP (Syteline) and MS Excel.
  • Provide ad hoc analysis.
  • Serve as a liaison between Finance and Operations along with all other areas of the business.
  • Anticipate the needs of internal customers; focus work processes that deliver consistent, accurate, timely, and actionable financial information while maintaining high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain Tier 3 Meeting Data/Boards.
  • Assist and provide data/documentation in relation to annual and interim Financial Audit.
  • Create and update reports for management teams and board presentations.
  • Assist in the Budget & Forecast process.
  • Evaluate profit and cost efficiencies for programs, parts, site cost and departments.
  • Develop, maintain and distribute ad-hoc reports and financial models as needed.

  • Proven financial skills in planning, forecasting, and analysis; understand complex financial transactions.
  • Solid communication skills, both in written and verbal presentation.
  • Resilience to pressure and be flexible to adapt to changing work scope.
  • Advance knowledge of Microsoft Excel is a must.
  • Must be detail oriented with strong organizational and analytical skills.
  • Ability to extract information from ERP.
  • Excellent Communication skills at all levels including management.
  • Strong initiative and ability to manage multiple projects as well as strong follow through skills.
  • Ability to complete projects timely and accurately is critical.
  • Ability to work well with others and communicate financial analysis to team members.

Education and/or Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business .
  • Minimum of 5 years experience.
  • Must have aerospace/manufacturing experience. Accounting/GAAP knowledge.
  • Syteline and Hyperion Experience a plus.
