Description

Starting Salary Range: $128,500 - $138,500 - position is also eligible for an annual bonus if individual performance and company objectives are met.

As our Senior Reliability Studies Engineer, you will have the opportunity to conduct power system analysis studies that support MISO's generation interconnection process. Additionally, you will coordinate and interact with interconnection customers and transmission owners, engage in process improvement initiatives, and project management, and take ownership of specific processes.

Within your first year as our Senior Reliability Studies Engineer, you will know you are successful if you:



  • Administer simulations and technical analyses effectively without daily oversight.
  • Serve as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for one of our study processes.
  • Prepare and deliver relevant communications and data to our customers.
  • Make significant contributions to our already highly functional team.


Our Senior Reliability Studies Engineer requires:



  • A bachelor's degree or higher in one of several engineering disciplines (see qualifying degrees below).
  • At least six (6) years' experience related power system planning, operations experience, or related field.


While not required, it would be advantageous to possess:



  • Specific experience within any of the following: PSS/E, MUST, TARA, TSAT, and VSAT.
  • Previous energy industry experience.


Appropriate level will be determined based upon experience and knowledge.
