Requirements:


*Bachelors degree in supply chain, business, or other related areas or an Associates degree with equivalent years of relevant experience will also be considered.
*5-10 years of leadership experience in a warehouse environment .
*Computer and ERP experience (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SAP, 365, etc.)
*Knowledge and demonstrated success in applying Lean Manufacturing concepts (yellow belt or higher preferred)
*Proven communication, analytical, and leadership skills.
*Ability to work on complex learning and development problems and teach highly technical information.
*Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
*Must be able to work in the US

Accountabilities:

*Ensures all safety procedures are followed and actively works to improve our safety program.
*Responsible for safety of all non-warehouse personnel in the warehouse.
*Keep logs of forklift maintenance for safety and ensure compliance.
*Train and enforce strict compliance of OSHA regulations as they apply to warehouse operations
*Maintain and improve cleanliness, organization, visual management, and overall 5S to promote safe and efficient warehouse operation.
*Ensures all quality procedures are followed and actively works to improve our quality program.
*Maintain commitments and delight customers through reduced lead times, meeting expedite requests
*Support incoming inspection process for all materials.
*Completes an expected amount of work based on time studies in accordance with schedule.
*Supervise warehouse employees and oversee daily operations, including full-time and temporary staffing and performance management.
*Track employee attendance and tardiness.
*Enforce all company rules and regulations. Follows all procedures & work instructions
*Schedule all inbound/outbound shipments.
*Ensure inventory accuracy through a robust Cycle Count program and conducting effective Root Cause / Corrective actions for errors.
*Manage procurement activities for all raw materials and operations / warehouse supplies.
*Manage relationships with suppliers for material, consumables, and logistics with a continual improvement mindset.
*Manage and track department KPIs.
*Implement continual improvement kaizens for the department.
*Maintains a favorable working relationship with all other company employees to foster, aid and promote a cooperative and harmonious working climate which will be conducive to maximum employee morale, productivity, and efficiency/effectiveness.
*Flexibility to support 24/7 manufacturing operation including nights and weekends
*Keeps immediate superior promptly and fully informed of all problems or unusual matters of significance and takes prompt corrective action where necessary or suggests alternative courses of action which may be taken.
*Develops individuals for future advancement.
*Other duties as assigned.
