Mission



This position is responsible for reviewing, defining, communicating and tracking the correct service kits with their components, quantities and unit of measures, for products in Product Company UVC upon a defined list that will be provided. The list may include current production, new projects, up to 10 years of machines out in the field for all product lines. The Service Kit Reconciliation project will work and collaborate with the UVC PTS Technical Support, PTS Marketing and PTS Purchasing departments, along with Pricing and Master data at the DC. While also documenting and established a new agreed upon process for the service kits.




Roles and Responsibilities




Supervisory Responsibilities:



  • None.


Duties/Responsibilities:



  • Identify the service kits in each BOM and Review the Kit Components with PTS Tech Support team.
  • Confirm Kit BOM is correct in Windchill, BPCS, & NSC's SAP.
  • When Kit BOM's do not match, identify the differences of which system is wrong (Windchill, BPCS and/or NSC's SAP system) and component needs to be removed, added or changed on a tracker.
  • Setup a communication system to the appropriate parties to have the differences updated while also recording the communication tracking (this could be a myQUEST ticket number, etc.)
  • Document Changes needed via Service Kit Reconciliation Tracker.
  • Add kit to Kit Tracker for all revisions and work with the following
  • Establish a new process(es) cross function for Kit Revisions (Departments: Engineering, PTS Service, Purchasing & NSC)
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications



Required Skills/Abilities:



  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently but also a strong team player.
  • Positive Attitude.
  • Dynamic and motivated with the ability to manage multiple projects.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software, especially Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
  • Proficient with or the ability to quickly learn the organizations HRIS, payroll, and similar employee management software.
  • Technical knowledge of construction equipment and/or business practices is a benefit.


Education and Experience:



  • Pursuing degree in Engineering, Technical or other related fields.


Physical Requirements:



  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times (occasionally).




Travel




May be required to visit NSC in Charlotte, NC.
