Summary/Objective:

The Business Applications Analyst fulfils a critical role in overseeing the integration, maintenance, and user adoption of technology applications within our company. Responsible for managing on-premise or cloud applications and platforms such as ERP, WMS, CRM, BI tools, ERP order automation, cloud apps, mobile apps, and similar applications commonly utilized by distributors and supply chain. Expertise with applications API's and middleware such as Iguana, Kore, or Apache, for data transport in/out of our Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system, Product Data Warehouse, PIM applications and/or CRM, marketing and BI platforms. Technical expertise, project management skills, and a collaborative approach with business stakeholders is instrumental in driving system efficiency and proficiency for internal and external end users.

Essential Functions:

• * Management of data integrations & API's between applications such as Eclipse ERP, Tecsys WMS, WCS, Canals Order Automation & Innovo Stock Room mobile app and middleware such as Kore, Iguana or Apache.
  
  * Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to capture business requirements, applications assessments, upgrades, process improvement recommendations, and development of application roadmaps and new integrations.
  
  * Ensure smooth data and information flow between various systems, including Eclipse ERP, Tecsys WMS, WCS, CRM, BI tools, mobile apps, supplier PIM & EDI integrations.
  
  * Proficient in various supply-chain on-premise and cloud applications to provide technical support and guidance to end-users.
  
  * Provide Tier 2 support to Help Desk and end users. Coordinate additional support needs with application providers such as Eclipse or Tecsys.
  
  * Proactively monitor the various applications performances and reliability, identify and resolve issues.
  
  * Prepare and present reports on system performance, adoption rates, and return on investment (ROI) to executive management. Recommend appropriate KPIs for various systems to measure, and drive, adoption and determine application ROI.
  
  * Coordinate any license updates / upgrades, as needed, and approved by management.
  
  * Participate in the evaluation of technology tools that align with our company's objectives and meet the needs of our team members, customers and/or suppliers.
  
  * Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in technology to identify opportunities for system enhancements and improvements. Participate in virtual users' groups and recommend applicable conferences.
  
  * Management of business applications and integrations such as Eclipse ERP, Eclipse or Tecsys WMS, WCS, Canals Order Automation, CRM, BI tools, mobile apps, and other relevant applications & mobile applications such as Innovo Stock Room.

Competencies:

• Proficiency with ERP/WMS applications and a track record of successful administration, integration and maintenance
• Proficiency in various ERP supporting applications such as Jasper, Bar tender, Eclipse Forms.
• Proficiency in various application API's and middleware platforms such as Kore, Iguana or Apache
• Proficiency in project management methodologies and tools such as Smartsheet or MS Project.
• Familiarity with WCS applications managing VLM's (Vertical Lift Machines) and/or other robotics
• Familiarity with Cloud platforms and services such as Amazon or Azure
• Familiarity with CRM platforms, cloud, BI tools, mobile apps, and other applications commonly used by distributors
• Familiarity with cloud environments such as Azure, Amazon or Rackspace and services provided
• Demonstrated leadership skills and the ability to motivate cross-functional teams.
• Exceptional organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Familiarity with current technology trends and advancements in the industry.

Work Environment:

This job operates primarily in an office setting with the balance of the time split between visiting various branches/warehouses and attending meetings. This position requires the use of standard office equipment such as computers, internet, smart phones, and photocopiers.

Physical Demands:

• the ability to stand, walk for moderately long distances, stoop, kneel, crouch, and manipulate (lift, carry, move) weight up to 50lbs
• Ability to use a keyboard and type proficiently

Travel:

Minimal overnight travel is required and the employee can reasonably expect on average 5% overnight travel to meet the demands of the position. Should travel be required a valid driver's license with a clean driving record is required for this position.

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or minimum of 5 years' related work experience preferred

• Additional Information:
• Work Shift and Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM or 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM. This position offers hybrid with 2 days remote.

Clearances and Certifications:

• U.S. Citizenship or U.S. Permanent Resident status required.
