Job Description: Ryan Companies is looking for a Real Estate Investment Analyst to join our team! The role provides analytical support in the areas of analysis, underwriting, sourcing, and closing of debt and equity for real estate developments nationally. It also includes analysis of investment performance for owned assets blending oversight of leasing and operations with evaluation of market conditions and capitalization. Ryan Investment Group team members will have significant interaction with Ryan coworkers in Capital Markets, Asset Management, Portfolio Management, Accounting, Legal and other internal and external partners. The analyst will be responsible for working across multiple platforms ensuring consistent application of Ryan's philosophy and the highest level of customer service. A successful analyst will work both independently and collaboratively as part of a high performing and interconnected team. Some things you can expect to do:
Understand and articulate the "story of why" for commercial real estate development and investment opportunities through analysis and communication skills. Underwrite development for industrial, multifamily, office, retail, healthcare, and senior living properties from coast to coast. Create and manipulate financial models to accurately reflect deal structure and return metrics. Examples include development proformas, joint venture waterfalls, Argus models, cash flow statements, and ad hoc valuation analyses. Work in Excel to perform detailed reporting and financial analysis for complex financial structures. Interpret real estate documents including purchase agreements, leases, loan documents, joint venture agreements, etc. Lead due diligence and closing processes in conjunction with development and legal teams. Load financial information into our Asset Management system (Pereview) and review monthly reports and cash flow forecasts, work with Ryan team member on variances and accounts receivable concerns. Perform benchmarking analysis, within Ryan portfolio and against industry benchmarks. Assist with the preparation of investment partner presentation reports and investment memorandums. Prepare financial assessments and provide recommendations on overall Ryan strategy. Assist with research tasks related to overview of competitive market, vetting of key market and underwriting assumptions as well as demographic trends within the portfolio's geographic area. Maintain project database with information available for immediate access related to key indicators, performance and project details. Effectively interact with in-house departments including accounting, asset management, capital markets, accounting and legal to ensure a team-oriented approach. Participate in operational, development and leasing calls to drive the performance of the property. Conduct quarterly reforecasts of assets under ownership - incorporating latest market and property information and trends. Summarize portfolio allocation and performance for senior leadership. Interpret and manage ownership documentation including joint venture and loan documents to ensure compliance, covenants and terms.
Job Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in related field. 1+ years' of experience with financial analysis related to commercial real estate transactions. Knowledge of financial statements, forecasting and modeling. Advanced proficiency in Argus and MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint.

Eligibility:
Compensation: The base pay is $75,000 - $105,000 per year. The base rate may vary within the anticipated range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate's knowledge, skills, and abilities. Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include commission and/or an incentive program. Benefits:
