Overview

The Treasury Technology team is responsible for the design, build and operation of Deutsche Bank's Treasury Liquidity Measurement and Management ecosystem. In partnership with the Treasury business, we look to deliver technology solutions that enable organizational Liquidity Management, improve operational efficiencies and compliance with ongoing regulatory reporting expectations. As a full stack engineer you will be responsible for managing work across multiple areas of the Bank's overall Information Technology (IT) Platform/Infrastructure including analysis, development, and administration.

What You'll Do

  • Work with our clients to deliver business value through the implementation of high-quality software within an agile development lifecycle

  • Define and evolve the architecture of the components and contribute to architectural decisions at a department and bank-wide level

  • Bring deep industry knowledge into the Team to understand problems, leverage design patterns, and support emergent design within the agreed domain target architecture

  • Contribute to the wider domain goals to ensure flow, consistent standards and approach to software development while designing to a common shared framework

  • Additionally, the role will include responsibilities, such as leading and collaborating across teams, mentoring and teaching and discovering new techniques and helping others to adopt them

Skills You'll Need

  • Proficient experience Java, Oracle and Hadoop Technologies - PL/SQL, XML processing, Web Services (both publishing and consumption), performance tuning, and Big Data (publishing and consumption), performance tuning

  • Experience in working with an agile delivery mindset and approach

  • Strong Experience in Continuous Integration (ideally TeamCity) and DevOps Methodologies

  • Strong experience in software development processes, models, lifecycles and methodologies

  • Comfortable maintaining & executing tests using various testing frameworks such as Junit, Selenium, etc, Degree from an accredited college or university (or equivalent certification and/or relevant work experience)

Skills That Will Help You Excel

  • Knowledge of Treasury: liquidity, funding, capital, and collateral and their management in a large financial institution

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with competing and alternating priorities with a constant focus on delivery

  • Logical & structured approach to problem-solving in both near-term (tactical) and mid-long term (strategic) horizons

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Capability to guide and influence decision making with business stakeholders, Working knowledge of Cloud Computing (Google Cloud Platform)

Expectations

It is the Bank's expectation that employees hired into this role will work in the New York City office in accordance with the Bank's hybrid working model.

The salary range for this position in New York City is $100,000 to $142,250. Actual salaries may be based on several factors including, but not limited to, a candidate's skill set, experience, education, work location and other qualifications. Posted salary ranges do not include incentive compensation or any other type of renumeration.
